


No importance is given to the aspiration and free will of women, to highlight the violence against women 25 November every year is marked as violence against women.
WomenShade Pakistan produced a commercial in 2009 on violence against women to mark the international day of violence against women.
This commercial was based on poetry of renowned poetess of Sub-subcontinent Perveen Shakir “TOM MUJH KO GURIA KAHTAY HO”
Purpose of this commercial was to sensitize people of this menace and it is estimated that around 5000 people has been sensitized about this problem.
