WomenShade Pakistan in 2009 organized in collaboration with winner educational society a Speech competition among All Quetta Girls High School on the occasion of “Teacher day” the event was held at Adara e saqafat Quetta the topic of the competition was “IKISVIAN SADI KA USTAD UR US KI ZIMEDARIAN”.
Chief gust at the occasion was provincial minister Mr. Ismail Gujar, around 15 schools of Quetta city participated in the competition, the occasion provided a great opportunity for girls for extra curriculum activity.
Judging Panel for the said competition was consisted of Mr. Alle Saeed, a Journalist and renowned writer, Mr. Zaib Shahid, former Producer of Pakistan Television Network, and author of many books and Miss. Rani Wahid, a Social worker.
Zara Batool of Govt Girls High School Sardar Isa Khan Got the first position, Shehzadi Laiba of Govt Lady sandaman Girls High School took the second position and Zulakha of Govt Girls High School Postal Colony secured the third position.
Chief Guest Mr. Ismail Gujar presented Trophies and certificate to student, during the competition girls performed couple of Skits and sang songs.
Chief Gust appreciated effort of WomenShade Pakistan for providing such occasion for girls so that they could show their talent and enhance there ability and confidence which is pivotal for leading healthy and successful life.
At the end Girls performed Local Dance called “ATTAND” on Pashto song which was a treat to watch and filled the atmosphere with thrill and enthusiasm.

Extra-curricular activities play a vital part in the Physical, mental and social upbringing of the child especially for their mental health and refreshment, they also create healthy competition. Extra Curricular activities for girls are almost non-existent in Pakistan.
