Violence Against Women
Violence against women in Pakistan is sad phenomena according to some reports about 80% to 90% of Pakistani women face violence in her life time, which include, Rape, KaroKari, marriage to Quran, Acid throwing, Stove Burning, Vinni, are few forms of violence perpetrated against women.
WomenShade Pakistan has programmes to curb this menace through Campaigning and awareness raising activities.

Domestic Violence
Domestic Violence is wide spread in Pakistan, what is worst about this form of violence is the fact that there are people who really do not consider domestic violence an criminal act, it is supposed to be private affair and state has nothing to do with it.
WomenShade Pakistan gives special attention to this issue and has programmes in place to eradicate this problem through Media campaigning and arranging special activity for eradicating domestic violence.

Discrimination against women
Women are discriminated against by the society on baseless thinking and perception. Employment opportunity for women are limited and that too is underpaid, other than that multiple form of discrimination is perpetrated against women.
WomenShade Pakistan through its Campaigning and awareness raising programmes highlights the elements exist in the society which is discriminatory to women and strive to eliminate it.

Encouraging Women for active participation in the society
Womenfolk constitute more than 50% of Pakistan population but they are mostly cut off from taking active part in the society.
WomenShade Pakistan through its campaigning and advocacy encourage women for active participation in the society and create conducive environment so that they could become a productive component of the society rather thanjust a consumer.

Girls Participation in extra curricular activities
Extra-curricular activities play a vital part in the Physical, mental and social upbringing of the child especially for their mental health and refreshment, they also create healthy competition. Extra Curricular activities for girls are almost non-existent in Pakistan.
WomenShade Pakistan arranges different extra-curricular activities for girls by arranging Dramas, Speech competition etc.

Women Health
Less attention is given to the health of women even during the time when more attention is needed during biological change; mortality rate in Pakistan is highest in the sub-continent.
WomenShade Pakistan arranges programmes to sensitize people of the importance of women Health.

Girls Education
Overall literacy rate of Pakistan is not good but the literacy of women are even worst and least attention is given to girls education and if there comes any financial problem in family girls are the first to be dropped out from the school, education for girls is not considered an important thing,
WomenShade Pakistan arranges campaigns and awareness creation programmes to highlight the importance of education of girl.
