Traveling through different areas of Pakistan, Mr. Wahid Khan, Founder/President of WomenShade Paistan, felt hurt to see the plight of women and decided to do something for the betterment and development of women and raising awareness of women humans right, few other friends joined him and his efforts culminated in creation of WomenShade Pakistan in 17 November 2008.

WomenShade Pakistan is Rights based, not-for-profit, Non-governmental, Non-Political Organization, Objectives behind setting up of WomenShade Pakistan are to raise awareness of women's and of Girl's child Human Rights especially through Media, that is, Print and Electronic media in additin to stage and take steps to encourage women who have shown skill and made outstanding achievements in their chosen filed and to recognize and celebrate the contribution of women whilst inspiring the future generation of women to achieve their full potential.

WomenShade Pakistan is slowly becoming efficient organization and making its presence felt in the area of creating awareness of Women's Human Rights. In the very short span of time Womenshade Pakistan has implemented very effective projects and programs for Women's Human Rights awareness creation, all of these projects so far implemented by the Womenshade Pakistan have been self financed, that is, through pooled-in resources of Womenshade Pakistan members and volunteers, no fund/donation has so far received by the organization and the fact that we have been success full in implementing so many result oriented and effective projects and programmes through pooled-in resources of volunteers and members of the organization is itself an indicator of commitment and sincerity of the volunteers and members of the WomenShade Pakistan with the vison and mission of the organization.
